National League Releases Names Of Culprits Of 146 Goals Scandal

Authorities have made public identities of players, team and match officials involved in the infamous match fixing scandal thus quelling rumours that the issue had been swept under

The Nigeria Nationwide League (NNWL) has published the names and photographs of players, team officials and match officials of the 146 goals scandal.

Players and officials of the four clubs involved in the infamous 146-goals scandal that rocked the amateur ranks of Nigerian football were banned for life by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Plateau United Feeders beat Akurba United 79-0 and Police Machine beat Bubayaro FC 67-0 in the play-off of the National Amateur League in July.

The NFF also sanctioned a 10-year ban for all the four clubs involved either as they are now called or in any form that they may transform into in future

Below are the names of the banned players and officials, in a release made available to Goal.
