All Souls Christian Centre Ends Youth Programme

The youths of All Souls Christian Centre Inc. aka Home of Transformation have ended their youth week programme tagged “God is not through with you yet”. The church auditorium, located at Rumuigbo, opposite Civic Centre in Obio/Akpor LGA of Rivers State was filled with fanfare as the youths had the best of their times.

Speaking with The Newswriter at the end of the 2 day event, Rev. Patrick Dandy, the senior pastor of the church, expressed gratitude to God for the success of the event. He said that the event afforded the youths the opportunity to exhibit their God given talents in the areas of drama and song presentations, amongst others, adding that the peak of the event was the enhancement opportunity for youths in propagating the gospel and work of God.

Rev. Dandy however, commended the youth president of the church, Bro Eze Onyejuba, for putting in his time, and resources to ensure the success of the programme and thanked members of the church, pastors and board members for all their supports to ensuring a hitch free youth week celebration.

He further used the medium to call on all and sundry to be part of their forthcoming 4 day prophetic relocation programme with the theme: “It shall back fire”, which he said will be coming up on the 4th-6th Sept, 2013 with guest speakers from and outside Nigeria.

The duo of Rev. Dandy and the guest pastor, Bright urged the youths to always live a life of emulation and not be part of the negative rascality that has taken over morality in churches, urging them to ensure that their inner mind will be as clean as outlook.

Patrick advised the people of Rumuigbo to continue to accept the men of God as God’s representatives here on earth, since He (God) cannot appear physically, in order for the mandate of God on earth to be made manifest in the area.

Responding, Brother Eze Onyejuba, the youth president of the church described the event as a yearly activity that provides the youths the opportunity to come together, reflect on the word of God and have fun at the end of the day.

On the commendation by the resident pastor, Dandy Bro. Onyejuba opined that he has not done anything different from what others have been doing, adding that his resolve was to ensure his commitment to the work of God, support the church with his token, visit the less privileged in the society and see how he could affect their lives positively.

Eze lauded the effort of Arc. Princewill Dike anchor man of the event for his support and commitment to the success of the programme. Both Eze and Sister Joy Anonye, the youth treasurer thanked their fellow youths for their various contributions towards the success of the week programme and enjoined them to make good use of their youthful age to promote the work of God and to better their tomorrow, they added. ###
