The Executive Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area Warisenibo (Hon.) Maclean Bethel Uranta has charged the council executives to be dedicated to their duties and render genuine services to the people. Warisenibo Uranta gave the charge during the swearing in and inauguration of Supervisors and Special Advises at the council’s chamber in Opobo town recently. The council boss called on the appointees to be innovative and come up with ideas and suggestions that will better the lot of the people, saying that the council owes it a duty to positively affect the lives of the people.
Those sworn in as supervisor are Kenneth G. Minimah, Youth and Sports, Senibo Gogo Apiafi, Culture and Tourism, Senibo Ngerebia Emmanuel, Works and Housing, Hon Felix Brown Education, and Samuel Fubara, Agriculture and Natural Resource. Others sworn in as Special Advisers, are Mrs. Sarah L. Kpokpo, Women Affairs, Tonye Peterside, Inter and Intra Party Affairs, Tumini Accra-Jaja, Transport, Madam Gogo M. Opusunju, Environment, and Senibo Ida G. Toby, Chieftaincy Affairs. Responding on behalf of the appointees, Senibo Ngerebia Emmanuel pledged their readiness to give the chairman the necessary support that will spur him to greater accomplishment.
