The people of Etche ethnic nationality have been called upon to emulate the exemplary incorruptible, peaceful and humble lifestyle of Late HRH Eze Loveday Elechi Amadi the onye/Ishi Aguru Umuselem clan of Etche.
In their separate speeches during the burial ceremony of the Late HRH Eze Loveday Elechi Amadi at his home town Akwa Etche LGA of Rivers State, High Chief Eze Reginald Nwosu the Ochemba of Okwa and secretary General Olakwor Omuselem council of chiefs who spoke on behalf of the traditional rulers and people of Akwa described the late HRH Eze Loveday Elechi Amadi as an exemplary traditional ruler who has nurtured the traditional rulers of Akwa and other Etche traditional rulers of Etche ethnic nationality.
He called on the people of the area not to deviate from Eze Amadi’s in corruptible, peaceful lifestyle ideal to move the Etche ethnic nationality and Rivers State forward.
On their relationship with the chairman of Etche LGA, Hon. Reginald Ukwoma, he described their relationship as cordial stressing that Hon. Okwoma is a good leader who carries everyone along in the scheme of things, adding that he has performed excellently in Etche LGA.
He commended Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi the governor of Rivers State for his developmental strides in Etche and other 22 LGAs of Rivers State and called on state, federal, governments and Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to as matter of urgency assist in the construction of Etche Road which according to him wad in a bad shape.
In the same vein, Mr. Charles Ladicy Nnah a supervisor FADAMA in Gokana LGA described late HRH Eze Loveday Elechi Amadi as a good man who lived a life of emulation and feared Good while on earth urged his sons, daughters and entire people of Etche to follow his footsteps, adding that his good life on earth has made his sons and other well wishers to give him a befitting burial.
Mr. Prince Kingsley Amadi the second son of HRH Eze Loveday Elechi Amadi who is also a staff of FADAMA described his father as a special man due to his straight forwardness, righteousness and fear of God in him.
According to him, I called him God son, he is a man of integrity, peace and carries people along in scheme of things, adding that he was a man who could not be bent what he know that is fair, truthfulness and justice, assuring that his children will emulate his lifestyle on earth.
Other people of Etche ethnic nationality and well wishers including the chairman of FADAMA who spoke at the occasion, described late Amadi as a good man and a man who stood for peace, truthfulness and equality.
The late Amadi until his date was a devoted Christian, a traditional ruler and a retired teacher who has taught in several schools in Etche LGA. ####
