Dolphins Players Wasteful Spending Life Exposed

DUMBOR AWANENOver the weekend The Newswriter sports desk gathered that some players of Dolphins were involved in some kind of painful wasteful spending what you sow is what you reap imbroglio, where people they supposedly borrowed money from emptied the Dolphins players pocket where they have gone to collect their last season sign-on fees from the bank.

Giving the true position to The Newswriter sports desk, the Rivers State Sharks and Dolphins fans coordinator, Patrick Green revealed that there was an agreement between some of Dolphins players with those they borrowed money from. Saying it is a gentleman agreement but when the players failed to honour the agreement, some of the borrowers petitioned the players through the sports ministry where on the day of collecting their 2011/2012 Nigeria premiership season sign-on-fees, they stormed the bank with the aids of the sports ministry for them to collect their money.

Revealing further he said, he was particularly present at the Diamond bank at Aba road, and saw everything. Being that he is privy to the situation of the players borrowing condition.

He stated that some players after borrowing the money care not to pay back since last year, meanwhile the interest was accumulating alongside the capital.

Specially Victor Babayaro who went on a borrowing spree, not limiting himself to only one client as he borrows around any known borrower, so it becomes so difficult for him to go home with stantative amount of his sign-on fees to his house. We gathered that he was left with nothing, to transport himself back to his home.

A particular player even impregnated a lady and abandoned her with the pregnancy where her lawyer petition the sports ministry, making it possible for the lawyer to be assisted by the sports ministry to collect part of the sign-on-fee of the player money to cater for the lady and the babies (3 children).

Another shameful behaviour from another player, where he refused to pick his call and even changed his line, so that no one who is connected with him about the money deal could reach him.

Out of 3 to 4 millions some players left with no kobo back homes as they were emptied of all that they owed the lenders.

Our sources disclosed that each (one thousand naira) borrowed there is 60 percentage interest added. And these monies have accumulated into almost 2 years.

Against the speculation there was no attack of touts against the Dolphins players rather there exist a gentleman agreement which was properly executed hence the lenders get back their money without committing an offence before the law. ###
