Nwuke, 2 others Berate Amaechi’s Critics … Inaugurate Omuma/Etche RIVLEAF Chapter

The member Federal House of Representative representing Etche/Omuma Federal constituency Prince Ogbonna Nwuke, the President of Rivers Leadership Advancement Foundation, Chief Alex Weli and the chairman of Etche Local Government Council, Hon. Reginald ukwoma has berated the critics of Gov. Amaechi, saying the man has performed well in Etche land.

The politicians made the assertion during the inauguration of the Rivers Leadership Advancement Foundation RIVLEAF Etche and Omuma chapter over the weekend.

In his opening remark the chairman of the occasion Chief (Dr.) Ambrose Nwuzi (JP) described Governor Amaechi as a man who have performed creditably especially in the area of infrastructural development in Etche land.

Chief Nwuzi who chaired the occasion stated that projects by Amaechi’s administration is there for all to see, while calling on Etche and Omuma people to remain steadfast with the governor in this period of political crises.

Addressing the crowd at the Etche council headquarters Okehi, the President of RIVLEAF, Hon. Alex Weli said critics of the governor have no justification since the governor have one more projects in Etche and other part of the state.

He described the feud between the governor and Chief Nyesom Wike as normal in political arena but cautioned that betrayal is not part of the game.

Hon. Weli who is also a special Assistant to the governor said he has personally donated education project to the people of Etche because of the love he has for them.

The RIVLEAF President advised the newly inaugurated chapter of Etche Omuma to work hard and mobilize, sensitize and bring those who has gone astray into the fold, noting that RIVLEAF are well groom vibrant youths who have been well trained in leadership.

In his welcome remark, the chairman of Etche LGA Barr. Reginald Ukwuoma said those who are fighting the governor do so for selfish reasons.

The council boss stated that this is the first time Etche people are benefiting from state government since the creation of Rivers State.

Hon. Ukwoma maintained that project like Model Primary Schools, Health Centres, Roads, Scholarship for their sons and daughters was made possible only during the administration of Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi.

He said there are enough reason why his people cannot abandon Gov. Amaechi especially now.

In their goodwill messages, the Federal lawmaker representing Etche and Omuma Federal constituency, Prince Ogbonna Nwuke and the member Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Victor Amadi stated that the governor deserve commendation and not attack.

The S.A to the governor on project monitoring Barr. Nnamdi Okere have earlier challenged any community that does not have any project by Amaechi to come out and state it. Hon. Jerome Okere delivered a lecturer on Good Goverance, A panacea to sustainable Development; The Amaechi’s Example.

In their separate acceptance speeches, the foundation chairman of Etche Justice Njoku and his counterpart from Omuma Ogbueri Lawrence O. Promised to work with diligence.

The royal father of the day, Onishi Aguru of Okeshi clan was represented by Chief Stanley Ogbu. ###
