Despite as Sharks football club of Port Harcourt is having difficulty to swim out of relegation zone; the coach of Sharks football club, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote as continuously stated that Sharks will not be relegated at the end of the 2012/2013 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Vowing that God is going to save Sharks, the optimist Ogunbote added that he had never influenced any game in his stay in any clubside in the Nigeria professional football league, and he could not even start with Sharks no matter the ugly situation Sharks is struggling with to swim out of relegation.
This was against the back drop of allegation made against coach Gbenga Ogunbote in some quarters that coach Ogunbote has only one choice to make, that is to influence Sharks matches as to escape relegation.
Coach Ogunbote shot into limelight when he took his former club from where he left for Sharks, sunshine of Akure into the continental stage, recording a sound performance with sunshine.
The humble coach has the responsibility yet to make a name for himself as one of the most technical sound coach among the coaches in Nigeria.
Even as it is glaring that Sharks may go on relegation, Coach Ogunbote has continuously stated that he believes Sharks will not be relegated no matter the current position of Sharks in the league table.
He therefore appealed to both the players and fans to believe that Sharks will never be relegated under his guide. ####
