God’s Favour has been identified as the only means for a positive turn around in all human endeavours irrespective of status in the society.
Rev. Godspower of the Assemblies of God who was guest preacher at the weekly programme of the Christian Pentecostal Mission, CPM, Ibeto Road, tittle the “Prophetic Power Clinic” dropped the hint last Thursday while speaking on the topic “Anointed with favour” with text from St. Luke Gospel 5:1-41.
Rev. Godspower disclosed that, God’s anointing ushers in unprecedented favour on all who believe pointing that irrespective of status attained one may not be truly activatesd life to enviable degree without the anointed favour.
According to him, God does not respond to the peoples cries but according to their actions, saying God does not come to anyone in a manner he desires but in His own way.
He warns Christians and all human race to desist from hindering their own blessing positing that, man can hinder his personal blessing from God probably through his mouth. He buttressed that Zacharia would have hindered his fortune when he considered his age and that of his wife Elizabeth.
The preacher noted that, there are things one ought not to say with his mouth and and there are people, Christians should not share their expected blessings with.
He assures Christians of the fulfillment of whatever promises of God to any human, no matter the time adding that, an angel would not descend this time to shut one’s mouth as that of Zacharia but a task one must do by itself.
The man of God buttressed that the child in Elizabeth’s womb had not been kicking or leaping before her contact with her sister Mary because of her age, but the moment Elizabeth had the contact with her sister, Mary, on her visit, the baby leaped, a sign of divine tough and transformation.
He explained that there is always a difference in any case that God is interested in. While enjoining Christians to be focused, he hinted that though there were gossip against Mary on the mysterious pregnancy yet she was focused without distraction, admonishing that side talks or gossip are very important in all life endeavours but concentration counts and produces the desired result.
He charged all at the meeting to seek Gods anointing and grace which is a higher power to activate their lives, arguing that it takes higher power to activates individual life.
Lead servant of the commission and host pastor of the CPM 36 Ibeto Road, Port Harcourt, Rev’d Austin Ohaji thanked God for using the preacher to confirm His words at the meeting saying that God is supreme and same everywhere.
While thanking the preacher who came in from Enugu State, Rev’d Ohaji call on the congregation to always abide by the words of God noting that God cannot change but must fulfill His promises to those who waits on Him.
