In a prelude to the forthcoming 25th Rivers State University of Science and Technology, convocation, the institution has paired UST VS Foreign Students Team that for the male, while the UST female Team played UWA, which result reads UST male soccer team 4 foreign students team 0 for the female UST 2 UWA 1.
All matches were played at the Rivers State University of Science and technology football pitch by the convocation arena at 4pm on 24th of April, 2013.
The promising matches were watched by interested students and lovers of Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
According to the institution football team coach, Cyril Levi, it has become the tradition of the institution to play a unity friendly match before the convocation proper hence this year’s convocation is no exception..
Being that it is a silver jubilee in the institution annals of academic records. The able coach said it is also an opportunity for the institution to select it best performing players to feature for the forthcoming NUGA games later this year at University of Efe, Ibadan. ###
