Ogu/Bolo MournesPassage of An Icon

 

The People of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State have been enjoined to emulate the lifestyle of Late Madam Esther Iruberetorukun-Aridaseipriye who while on earth has proved that sentiment, hatred and enmity were handiworks of the devil.

The Rev. Canon E.D.J Aseminaso of St. Michael’s Christ Army Church, Ogu/Bolo made the call while speaking at the funeral service of Late Madam Esther Aridaseipriye.

Canon Aseminaso in his sermon noted that the late madam Esther was magnanimous and an epitome of peace and truth while on earth and advised all, particularly her children to follow her steps.

In a similar development the Women Christian Association of the Christ Army Church, Ogu/Bolo have noted that though people were often remembered at death that of Madam Esther commonly known as mama social would be hard to forget as her gesture while on earth was satisfying to all in the church and beyond as she has touched many lives.

Chief mourner at the event and son, chief Hon. B. J. I. Orabere who expressed appreciation to attendees thanked God for such a day that his mother who lived a fulfilled life was laid to rest without problem.

He further promised the people of Ogu/Bolo to continue from where his mother ended.

Dignitaries at the funeral ceremony include Senator George Thompson Sekibo and Chief Hon. Jonah Tamuno, among others. ###
