… Emma Anyanwu Predicts Crisis in Rivers State
The newly sworn Rivers State chairman of the people Democratic Party PDP Hon. Felix Obuah alias “Go Round” has warned party members against utterances that would portray the image of President Goodluck Jonathan and Alhaji Bamanja Tukur the national chairman of the party in bad light
Addressing Peoples Democratic Party PDP faithful during his reception from Abuja at the state party secretariat 23 Aba Road Port Harcourt, couple of days ago, the former Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area chairman who noted that Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and National chairman of the party Alhaji Bamanga Tukur were duly elected to serve the party and public urged party members to remain loyal and committee to their administrations adding that any member who practice anti- party will be shown the way out.
According to him, “We should guide our utterances against President Jonathan and Alhaji Bamanga Tukur because they were duly elected by us; we will not allow insult to our leaders, the new leadership of the PDP in the state will bring all our members together as one”.
Hon. Obuah who expressed his gratitude to God for his election as the chairman of the largest party in the world, assured members that he would unify members of the party, ensure internal democracy, and apply the principle of “Go Round” in the party.
He enjoined members to remain loyal, committed and steadfast to move the party forward.
Meanwhile Prince Emma Anyawu the managing Director of Emmachase Niger Limited has predicted more political crises in Rivers State following the suspension of Obio/Akpor chairman, Hon. Prince Timothy Nsirim his vice and 17 councillors of the council.
Prince Anyanwu in a chat with journalists in the Port Harcourt accused governor Amaechi of lacking internal political mechanism, to pilot the affairs of the party in the state.
According to him, “governor Amaechi has failed to honour the peace initiated by some stakeholders in the state, he does not listen to the advice of the elders to address issues concerning the state”. ###
