The State Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mr. Oliver Wolugbom has lauded the developmental strides of Hon Orom Nte Ereforokuma, the chairman of Andoni Local Government Council of Rivers State.
The NOA boss made the assertion when he paid a courtesy visit to the chairman in his office at NGO town, the headquarters of Andoni Local Government Area
Mr. Wolugbom explained that for the Local Government council to have single handedly embarked on connecting Andoni, a Riverine local government to the national grid was a great achievement.
He also commended the council chairman and his team for the existing peace among communities in the area and for improving the security situation in Andoni.
The NOA Director used the opportunity to thank the chairman for the support and the assistance which his Agency enjoys from the council.
In his response Hon, Oron Nte Ereforkuma, who was represented by his vice, Hon Elder Sampson G. Egop said he appreciated the National Orientation Agency for the visit and assured the Agency of their continuous support to its programmes which he said that have direct bearing on the rural populace.
He stressed the need for the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to create more awareness on the tourism potentials that abound in the area such as the atlantic sea shore, the elephant sanctuary and the largest fishing settlement in Africa situated in Andoni. ####
