The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Port Harcourt has expressed willingness to partner with the Ministry of Information and Communications and its Parastatals in training their staff.
Head of Training (ITF), Mr. Emma Isiwu, gave this indication during a 3 day workshop on Information and Records keeping organized by the organization in Port Harcourt recently.
Mr. Isiwu, who urged the participants to count themselves lucky to have been chosen by their Ministries, also advised them to make use of the opportunity offered by this training.
Earlier, Mr. Samuel Otobotekere, a facilitator on the topic “Modern methods of Information Dissemination” said that getting information used to take a long time, but information and technology has made it faster, easier and instantly accessible.”
Also speaking, Mrs. Nwamaka Okam, a facilitator on the subject, ‘Communication and Human Relations,’ in her word, said “you cannot claim to have good human relations skill without the ability to communicate effectively.”
In her vote of thanks, a participant, Mrs. Oluwatosin Ikhili of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) thanked the ITE on behalf of the participants, promising that participants would put all they were taught to use. ####
