Ikuru Tasks Women On Service To God, Humanity

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Engr. Tele Ikuru, has called on women to live a life of service to God and humanity.

Engr. Ikuru made this call during the Ikwun Ekwun/Okoborn

(Celebration of Womanhood) ceremony by the wife of the former National Organizing Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Helpmeet Ene Secondus, in Ikuru Town, Andoni Local Government Area of the State recently.

Extolling the sterling virtues of Pastor Secondus, the Deputy Governor described her as “a jewel and a treasure to womanhood,’ stating that she has continued to positively impact the society through her noble objectives.

Engr. Ikuru called on other women to draw unique lessons from her life of dedication and service to God.

Also speaking, Chairman of Andoni LGA, Sir Ororn Nte Ereforokuma, represented by his vice, Hon. Sampson Egop, expressed delight on the success of the event, noting that culture and tradition promote unity in the society.

Prince Secondus used the opportunity to debunk insinuations in some sections of the media that he was joining forces with certain politicians to oust Governor Chibuike Rotimi Arnaechi from office.

Prince Secondus thanked the Governor, his deputy, and other dignitaries for making the day a success.

The celebrant, Pastor Ene Secondus, expressed joy at the success of the event, attributing the positive impact she has made in the lives of several women to the grace of God in her life. ###
