Ibani World Language Day Celebration: 15-year-old Vocalist Discovered

This year’s world language day celebration, taking the Ibani mother tongue in focus as a case study has revealed a fifteen (15) year old vocalist Master Oko-jaja Confidence Michael as a true son of Ibani ethnic Nationality.

After dazzling the audience in the Ibani language secondary school competition with his natural vocal prowess, where he was paired with a fellow student Fubara Edith Israel, representing Comprehensive School, Opobo Town, Oko-Jaja Confidence Michael distinguished himself as well as his mother’s tongue for recognition.

According to Oko-Jaja Confidence Michael he has been singing in the junior choir until few years ago when he was promoted to join the senior choir in the Apostle Church, Opobo Town by the church authority based on his amazing performance with his natural voice.

Okojaja Confidence Michael is an SS2 student of Comprehensive secondary school Opobo, and  has the intention of becoming an engineer in the future but would not mind zeroing it into music later in the future.

Investigation revealed that Michael was discovered as a naturally gifted vocalist at a tender age of six (6) years and had been the darling of audience with his vocal prowess in singing.

He was also inspired to be writing poetry, which he translates into music.

To those whom God has given natural talents in whatever discipline, he admonished they should keep their talents real and keep it up and green. ###
