The scriptures described the woman in a marriage as the moulder of the character of the man; in fact, the woman is the shaper of the character of the man. The same scriptures asked who can find a virtuous woman. For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her so that he shall have no need of spoil, she will do him good and not evil all the days of her life- proverbs 31:10-12.
The Woman As Keeper Of The Home
She works tirelessly to keep her home under sun and rain for the well being of her household. She labours to see all is well with her home, Proverbs 31:13-29, she seeketh wool and flax and worketh willingly with her hands she is like the merchants ships, she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night and guideth meat to her household and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field and buyeth it with the fruit of her hands she planeth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength and strengtheneth that her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself covering of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is know in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen and selleth it, delivereth girdles unto the merchant and she shall rejoice in time to come. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also and he praiseth her. Proverbs 31:13-29.
The woman as the Motivator
When the husband is down or is low spirited, it is the woman (the wife) that comes up to motivates and encourages him to face the challenge ahead of him. Same her children draw strength in her motivation in all challenging situation in their lives in all stages, while growing up to face life. She takes the blame of her children failure because she is the first teacher and character moulder of her children’s lives. The woman in all standard teaches diligent in the family, the pillar and encourager of good habit.
The Woman As The Moralist
The woman is the guide to her husband and her children. She guides every step of the man (husband) and her children to blossom into responsible citizen in the society. She values the law of the land and holds it tenaciously to her heart as she impacts it to her household on daily basis.
In simple term, the woman is the basis of the home front well being, if there is peace in a family, the woman is the one that is responsible. The world would have been a glorious place to enjoy, if every woman knows her value and role in the lives of men on earth. No wonder great leaders of the world today are the products of great mothers, who had invested much moral and impacted in them the fear of Yahweh from their cradle.
Name one great world leader who does not have a great mother behind his success. Still name one great world leader who does not have a great supportive wife behind his life success.
Women are society builders, hence every woman existing in the world today should know this great fact that the world betterment is based on their realization of their value and worth in the lives of their husbands and their children.
