Quest For Sovereignty: Biafra’s Case Against Nigeria Resumes March …Bilie Human Rights Initiative Calls for Prayers

The decision of the indigenous people of Biafra to actualize their age-long dream of being a sovereign nation, totally free from the crutches of the federal Republic of Nigeria appears to be yielding fruits, with the first hearing going in their favour.

However, the next hearing is coming up on March 28, 2013 at the Federal High Court, Owerri and all the indigenous People of Biafra are looking forward to that day with great anticipation, believing and praying that it should also end up in their favour.

Information at our disposal reveals that counsel to Bilie Human Rights Initiative, Barr. Emeka Adolp Chigozie Emekesri has returned from his base in London armed with the necessary documents to prove his arguments in the case.

Bilie Human Rights Initiative is the Human Rights group that sued the Nigerian government on behalf of the indigenous people of Biafra.

Meanwhile, the chairman of Bilie Human rights Initiative, Port Harcourt chapter, Comrade Philip Akali has called on all Biafrans in Port Harcourt and other parts of Nigeria to try and attend the next hearing coming up on March 28 at the Owerri Federal High Court.

He, however said that those who cannot attend should pray for them so that God could lead the indigenous people of Biafra to the promised land. Comrade Philip Akali added, “the country we’re looking for is a Christian country. That is why Bilie Human Rights does not want people with questionable character or stained hands to champion this struggle. We want God fearing people, so we need prayer support; God will supply other things because Biafra is his own country. Many have died for this cause and those of us alive are making sacrifice but we need prayers”.

Comrade Akali said that Bilie Human Rights Initiative is aiming to unite the entire indigenous people of Biafra scattered all over the world. ###
