Sanitation Sole Administrator Takes Enlightenment Campaign To Church…Lunches Sanitation Sticker

The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Environmental Agency Mr Ade – Adeogun has called on Christians to join hands with the State Government to clean their environment.

Mr Ade – Adeogun made the call during the launching of stickers with a logo: “I love PHC, keep it clean” at the Royal House of Grace International Church, Rumueme in Obio-Akpor LGA of Rivers State.

The Sole administrator of the sanitation authority who cited Genesis 1 – 26 – 27, said God loves cleanliness and wanted us to live long, so we must inculcate the culture of cleanliness in our environment to prevent us from mosquito and sickness which may lead us to death.

According to him, God has a purpose for creating us and the only way we can live long is by cleaning our environment.

He enjoined all residents of Rivers State to always clean their environment with passion for healthy living. In a chat with journalists Mr Ade-Ogun hinted that the launching of the sticker in the church was to ensure that all Christians inculcate the culture of cleanliness.

He urged members of the church to show passion in cleaning their environment, assuring that the enlightenment programme on clean environment will go across the state. He stressed that the sticker was a free donation by the Rivers State Government to ensure clean environment and will be given to residents of the state free.

In his speech, the General Overseer of the Royal House of Grace International, Apostle David Zilly Aggrey stressed the need for clean environment, noting that God is interested in the cleaning of our environment and enjoined Christians to always clean their environment.

In their separate speeches, Mr Opaka Dokubo the Chairman of NUJ Rivers Council, Chief Alabo Graham Douglas, his wife and Apostle David Zilly Aggrey stressed the importance of cleanliness in the society, assuring that they and their families would support the state government by ensuring clean environment in their domain. #
