FG Rains Naira On Super Eagles…Tasks Keshi To Qualify Team For 2014 World Cup

The Chief Coach of the victorious Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi has led the Eagles squad to a new status as President Jonathan and Senators, with philanthropists, doled out cash rewards to the Super Eagles players and technical crew.

Keshi bagged National Honour of Commander of the Order Niger (CON), his assistants bagged the National honour of Officer of the Order of Niger (OON) while team skipper Joseph Yobo also got OON. Other players were awarded member of Order of Niger (MON).

Keshi was given 10million naira with a plot of land in Abuja, while his assistants got 2 million each with a plot of land.

Yobo and his teammates got 5 million with a plot of land in Abuja each attached to the National Honour.

The Federal Government also mandated Keshi to qualify the Eagles for 2014 world cup scheduled to hold in Brazil. ###
