Super Leaders International converged in Port Harcourt last weekend to confer a honorary doctorate degree of community and administrative leadership on a traditional ruler of Obuama, in Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State, High Chief Omubo Atuboiriome Harry (JP).
Speaking at the ceremony, the president and Chief Executive of the institution, Dr. Elisha Eddie said that the organization is purely academic and that the award of honorary doctorate degree is exclusively reserved for those who merited it, particularly those with master degrees already. He noted that His Royal Highness, Chief Harry merited it, judging by his academic credentials and pedigree at the University of Manchester England, his alma mater where he has clear testimony that Harry be given the award for his professional excellent, in development leadership, pointing out that the next leadership award will attract leaders from France, England and Japan.
In his response the celebrant, High Chief,. Omubo Aluboinome Harry said that while he was working he did not know that people were watching him, advised those out there working and have not been located to continue in their good work, as they will be located one day. ###
