A call has gone to Christian Chief Executive Officers, (businessmen) and women in general to use their positions and the opportunities offered by their companies as well as businesses to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Founder and Coordinator of the Market-Place Apostles Empowerment Foundation, Uche Onochie, made the call at a Businessmen and Women Prayer Conference held at the Landmark Hotels, Port Harcourt, on Saturday 19th January, 2013.
Speaking on the theme, “Essence of Prayer in Business’, Mr. Onochie explained that every Christian CEO is a pastor and should therefore begin to function in that ministry.
“As a CEO, you’re a pastor, your company is your parish and your table is your pulpit,’ he said, adding that it is only when Christians in the market-place begin to convert souls to Christ and handle the business of God first in their offices that they can be blessed by Him.
Onochie maintained that the Market-Place Ministry, if run effectively will transform the business sector and place Christians in a position of influence economically, socially and politically, adding that success in business is a function of God rewarding the faithful.
To achieve this transformation, he said the ministry would organize more prayers, trainings, teachings while engaging all the key sectors in the economy. ####
