Kenneth Amabipi Lives On
The Publisher of The Newswriter
In the sands of time
Even in the darkest hours of life
Though he sleeps before the world
Works done with his pen speaks loud
To immortalise the courageous will
Of Kenneth Amabipi
Where history holds him in esteem
For his simplicity of journalism
Strive in quarter all through
Even in death he serenades peace
Love of the life he lived
Never fails him before his admirers
The Newswriter he eyes the world
Wherefore is death wicked
Callous it may seem
When he died before the eyes
Could he but sleep without achieving
Time and season would forever rejoice
For his labour and fatherly deposition.
To many in the pen profession
An hero he struggled to make himself
Real hero he becomes
Determination of purpose
Sacrifice of his pleasure
Love of the ordinary glory
Of man and The Newswriter
Has but seen him the man of repute
A generation society builder
With his pen and morals of love
Yet would we miss you, my friend,
Why wait a little longer
For us to reap the fruit of your labour
I could not but questioned your will
If not for anything,
For you to be pronounced
The Publisher of the age
Time and seasons never would nay
Your noble personality of peace
Your love for determination
Your courage in making things happen
Stirs me before the challenge
You have left behind me
I could not but promise, my boss
But I would try my best with others
To see through The Newswriter
Your first love and will
We may never meet as usual
Only time and posterity will tell
Our good old days when you last on earth
But you could have said bye
Why did you go now?
You are gone, yes gone forever
To a place I know not of
My Boss find peace in your new place
Adieu my Publisher, my boss and friend. ###
