The family of Mr. Theophilus Uyanimi in Datowei Compound, Lobia Town in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State and the family of Late Chief Alfred Alukuru in Azien-wari compound, Gbanram kingdom in Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State celebrate as their daughter and son, Elizabeth Theophilus and Ako-ebi Alfred Olukuru respectively went to the altar and fulfilled marriage vow, “I do I do in Priest and Kings Praise Ministries International Inc. (PKPM), Sandfield, Borokiri, Port Harcourt, Rivers State last month.
The reception which took place at Port Harcourt Tourist Beach, Borokiri after the church service at PKPM was attended by respected sons and daughters of Bayelsa, Rivers and other neighbouring states.
The presiding Bishop, Mrs. Jack Moses J. advised the couple to use the word of God as their pilot key and consider tolerance, patience, humility and unconditional love for one another, adding that the life of every marriage in the House of God is the study of the word of God which shall serve as a foundation to their success.
The Bishop further described the newest couple on planet earth and described them as a people who have the fear of God at heart.
He blessed the couple and warned any member of the family not to put asunder to what God Almighty has joined together and also urged the couple to desist from keeping bad friends.
At the reception, the couple nuptial dance was worthy of emulation with a rising refreshment where assorted drinks, foods become the order of the day.
In a chat with journalists, the bride, Mrs. Elizabeth Akpo-ebi Alfred described the occasion as the best day in her life, and advised all young girls to be patient for their day and not to rush life in order not to miss their life partners.
The groom, Bro. Akpo-ebi Alfred Olukuru in his vote of thanks, thanked the guests within and outside the state who honoured their invitation to make their day a success, wishing them a happy departure to their various destinations. ####
