He equally advised the youths of Okuru Ama to always maintained peace and order in order to attract more projects.
Concerning political appointment, Prophet Elijah admonished the people to be patient and optimistic because according to him the governor is taking his time and in due course positions of trust will be given to those that deserve them.
CDC chairman expressed that the future is bright, because the community people are working harmoniously towards peace which has recently resulted to the invitation of great men of God like Pastor David Ibiyeomie and Bishop Isaac Minabere to pray for the community.
Prophet Elijah frowned at the on going sand dredging from Community River, noting that the adverse effect is greater than the present gain because it is damaging the environment.
“The dredging business is done by individual families not all the Okuru Ama people are benefiting from the dredging, besides everybody will suffer when the effect emerges”.
He therefore called on the government to stop the dredging and if possible sandfill the place to avoid further damage of the land.
