Death Is A Joker

Dedicated To My Boss, Kenneth Amabipi

Life itself is a joker
When death takes its glory
In the most amazing style
As it claimed Ken Amabipi
The publisher of The Newswriter
In the most surprising way
Our loss but it is heaven’s glory
Heaven glory our loss
One day all souls must witness
When it will lay its cold hand on us
Through the passage of life
So Ken Amapibi is gone forever without bye
My cow boy of silence
Sleeps and refused to say a word to his fiends
It is a circle surely to fulfill its purpose
When our loss becomes heaven glory
Even as we least expected
Like a vapour it complete it mission
So it has taken my friend, my pen cow boy
The silence of his office is unbelievable
No more shall the oratory page run
The Waterfront Parliament rest once
And twice the people wonder
Questions all fill their talking tongues
Leaving us all in tears
Where is oga Ken Amapibi
The ever smiling publisher of the Newswriter
I am cowed not disabled
For the truth of Kenneth Amabipi’s journey
The journey of no return
Yes, he journeyed to the unknown
Never to smile among his dear friends
Distance in between he talks now
Leaving The Newswriter behind
For those who care for fame
To establish themselves before time
Just one day he takes his bow
Creating the feeling of celebration
For an intellectual, the motivator
No longer shall The Newswriter cry
For too long she has begged for recognition
Kenneth Amabipi made the last sacrifice
But in death he becomes an hero
Leaving behind legacy of emulation
Farewell Publisher, my friend
You journeyed in silence
Scare not the dotage of The Newswriter
Farewell, Adieu my boss, Oga Ken
