Bereton Academy Partners With Novena University At 25

The first military Governor of the Old Rivers State, HRM Alfred P. Diette Spiff has rated Bereton group of School high in educational development in Rivers State, saying that at 25th anniversary Bereton has partnered with Novena University.
His Majesty told newsmen at the silver jubilee celebration of the school in Port Harcourt, adding that the school had standard laboratory for West African Examination Council and that it is a West African Examination exams centre.
In his speech, the Archbishop of the Anglican Communion, His Lordship, Rt. Rev. Ignatius Kattey said that even when Bereton is considered moderate in fees in the state, some could not afford to meet up and advised that since there are other lesser charged schools those who cannot meet up with Bereton should look for those lesser places.
Speaking on the plane crash in Bayelsa over the weekend the minister of God said he commiserates with the families of the deceased and prayed God to accept their souls, pointing out that it was an accident which can occur anytime, anywhere to anybody, advising that people should surrender their lives to Jesus Christ so that when they die their souls will be saved. The pro chancellor of Novena University told journalists that Bereton is wise to have affiliated itself with their university as it will help fast admission for students from the institution.
The Proprietress of Bereton Academy HRM, (Mrs.) Josephine Diette Spiff thanked God for the success of the school at 25 and hopes to go ahead despite the challenges of finance, bad road, among others facing the school.
According to the queen of Twon Brass, the significance of the silver jubilee celebration is that the school is trying to locate, and mop up past students of the college, letting them know that their alma mater still recognizes and cares for them so that they will not go about committing crimes.
She expressed confidence that the celebration has brought old students and present students to see and know that, these highly placed adults were once in the same place where they are so that they will behave.
Mrs. Spiff dismissed the insinuation of high fees in Bereton, explaining that the school even offers scholarship to 25 students yearly to students who lose their sponsors explaining that while still in the school they are given the opportunity to graduate free of charge. ###
