Jesus Excellent Ministries is one of the fast growing churches in Port Harcourt, the church which started humbly at No. 8 Chukwu Street, by Elekahia Police Station has a branch in Rumuola, Jem No. 6 Rumuadaolu, beside Dan-Dollar Filling Station, along Rumuola Road Port Harcourt, and outside the state which include Bayelsa, Lagos, Abuja, Umuahia and Ghana.
Recently, a crusade titled, Mega Miracle Crusade with the theme, “Anointing for the Miraculous” was held by the church. In an interview with the General Overseer (G.O.) of the church, Pastor Moses Adeeyo, he noted that the church is in the era of the miraculous based on the syllabus of God, adding that during the time of John Wesley, and Charles Wesley, John O. Lake the church was experiencing revival because of the apparent doom it was sliding into.
Pastor Adeeyo also said that after the period of revival, salvation dispensation emerged which ushered the message of repentance. However, the people he said needed to move on in life and prosper this led to the era of the miraculous.
Furthermore, the man of God noted that the body of Christ has different functions, while some churches preach holiness, others preach deliverance and so on, therefore, Pastor Adeeyo warned that people should stop complaining and key into the move of God.
To this end, the programme he said was initiated to launch the people into the present era, “The Miraculous Era,” which can only be accessed if one listens and obeys the voice of the Holy Spirit, this is the secret of our progress in ministry”, he said. To elucidate this fact, Pastor Adeeyo opined that the crusade was supposed to hold at Rumuola branch, but the Holy Spirit changed the venue to Elekahia.
The guest preacher, Prophet Elisha Trebi Laryea from Ghana who has a special prophetic grace added glory to the programme, he stunned the people by mentioning their cases before they even speak.
Concerning the flood and the unprecedented violence in the country, Pastor Adeeyo disclosed that God is ushering the church into the era of harvest. “God wants a situation where the world would be shaken so that the adamant ones would search for Him as it has been all through history great preachers had emerged during turbulent crisis”.
He also noted that the proliferation of churches is normal because every repentant Christian is carrying out a ministry, but the problem is that most people are carrying out their ministry outside the will of God and they don’t wait to hear from God that is why their ministry is stagnant. ####
