Our Mission
God’s message for the world, contained in the scripture was meant to be understood and unfortunately such understanding is notably rare. The pressures of modern times have weakened the faith of many people. However, a good and increasing number of persons feel definite and ardent need to gain understanding of the scripture. They want a knowledge that is solid and reliable, facts on which to base their convictions and hope. They seek guides for solving problems of life taking right decisions in crisis. They want the promise of everlasting life to fulfill on them and they must be taught the requirements. It is only the scripture that can give them such information.
As a help, this maiden edition of the SERAPHIC TRUMPET magazine is the principal authority on which all the articles are based on the scripture itself. It continues with MY CLARION CALL on believers to check their interpretation of the words of the Holy Scriptures. It is sorrowful to observe that believers have continued tacitly to preach heresy/blasphemy which confuses the true method of worship of the creator (Acts 24:11-13-14; job 38:33; matt 6:10, Colossians 2:12; 3; 1-3).
The situation is so bad that much burden is brought to bear on the Saviour after his mission here on earth “For if Jesus gave us that rest….(Heb 4:4-7;8-9).
“For there are three that bear record in haven, the father, the word and the holy spirit and the record of the three must be correlated and proved one, else the righteous scarcely secures the light of salvation “(1st John 5:7; 1st Pet. 4: 18; Isa. 8:20).
We must always keep in mind the word” FOREVER’ for a truthful and right interpretation of the Holy Scriptures (Exodus 15:18; Psalm 19:9; 48:14; 9:7; 33:11 & 12: Dan 6:26).
Fighting the devil, we know is a problem which needs prayer to cast and bound, even charms. It has so many emotional implications and so many myths also surround our environment, and because of ignorance and other poor attitudes of many of our people towards religious knowledge many still don’t benefit from prayers.
The necessity of a new magazine for an organization such as this is based on the fact that not all the people who go to church have got this basic fundamental experience which the scripture calls salvation. There are multitudes of people who religiously attend church services and even engaged in church activities but are not saved. Pockets of people are in virtually all local assemblies who still need to benefit from Christ’s work and become saved.
Secondly, there are several others who know they do not have the experience and they desire it with a burning zeal. Such people know the possibility of having such experience but they know also that it is conspicuously missing in their lives. They wonder why this is so and at times break down emotionally in their desperation to have it. This group of people no doubt will want to know how to get saved.
Thirdly, the scripture is the truth of the individual’s standing before God, irrespective of his church, fellowship affiliation or religion. The scripture goes along way to redeem people out of ignorance.
A clear teaching on salvation helps us to know that we can be members of the visible church (local assembly, a church along the street, in the city, or down in the suburb in any part of the world-Africa, Asia, America, Australia or Europe) without being members of the invisible church (The actual collection of redeemed saints children of Abraham, it is helpful to know that the separation, that God will make at the end of the world between the wicked and the righteous will based on one’s reception of the salvation today.
“So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and separate the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be waiing1 and gnashing of teeth” (Matt. 13:4950). ###
