Ex-Militants Motivate CAN To Give Relief Items To Flood Victims

The once termed militants in Niger Delta have proved skeptics wrong by contributing N2000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) each to alleviate the plight of the flood victims in part of Rivers State, thereby motivating Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to take the same step.
Moved by the action of the people termed to be without conscience in the society, the chair of Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Apostle Zilly Aggrey has urged the Christian Association of Nigeria to give out relief items to flood victims, even if they need to use their last kobo.
Explaining how he felt when he hear the good gesture of the former militants, he said he was moved to tears and that moved him to urged the Christian family to get into action. Apostle Aggrey made this confession penultimate day after some relief materials were given out to the flood victims in some parts of the state.
It would be recalled that four local government areas were heavily affected by flood that sacked every persons in those four LGAs, leaving them with nothing as they now depend on relief materials given to them by concerned Nigerians and civil liberty organizations and the state government.
As of the time of filing in this report, news reaching our desk has it that the flood is receding to bring about normalcy in the communities so affected. This is good news. ###
