It was a moment of joy and celebration for the families of Mr. and Mrs. Adesina, as they were joined with their friends, colleagues and associates to celebrate the arrival of their first baby after 10 years of waiting for a child in their marriage, on the 21st of October, 2012 at the couples premises in D/line, Port Harcourt.
Speaking to The Newswriter, during the dedication celebration over the weekend, the happiest father in town, Mr. Richmond Adesina, recounted the joy and feeling he has over his first child birth, noting that he felt so great and excited that God has finally remembered him and his wife with Teniola Richmond Adesina, their newly born baby, stating that this is to prove that “God is faithful to all that wait on him”. Indeed, God has shown that he is a miracle worker and still functioning on his throne”.
He revealed that it was not easy while expecting this day to come through for the fruit of the womb.
Happy Adesina Richmond captured his happy moment with these words “Ten years is not a joke. A child of 10 years is preparing to go into the university, then think of the elusion, that had eluded you, there is this feeling of you coming home to meet the smile of your child which was not there for you, the joy of seeing your child smiling back at you when you come home is refreshing and elates one. For me to miss all that for 10 good years drives one mad and thinks different thoughts”.
On his advice to couples who are facing such situation, he said that they should be patient with God; according to him God does not forget anybody he has created. God has time for everybody at his own will. He Urged such couples to keep their hope alive in God, as they keep faith with God, knowing that God will always fulfill his promises for everyone on earth. ###
