My Wife Thinks for Me – Karibi Whyte

Justice Adolphus Karibi Whyte has attributed his 50 years success in marriage to the perfect relationship that exists between him and his wife, Mrs. Faith, describing her as “the best thing that has happened to me in life”.
Justice Karibi Whyte stated this is in exclusive interview with The Newswriter Saturday, shortly after the celebration of his 50th year marriage anniversary in Port Harcourt.
“MY wife is everything to me. We had always planned together no one thing have I done without my wife. My wife does everything for me, even thinking.”
The Retired Supreme Court Judge and the current Pro-Chancellor of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) said above all God has always granted him his grace in all his endeavours.
The Octogenarian who narrated his achievements at the Bar and Bench for over 20 years said God has been kind to him and his family.
Talking about marriage, the veteran jurist said marriage is the best thing that can happen to any man. He advised couples or prospective ones to always hinge their relationship on mutual trust and confidence. Throwing more light on the factors that contributed to his success in life, the retired Supreme Court judge said the name of his father played a major role in his life.
He recalled how his father cautioned him on 10th September, 1965 when he was going back to England to always remember his name in all his dealings.
This, Karibi Whyte said had driven his actions through out his life time and with God helping him, he has achieved all the feats.
Delivering his sermon earlier at Saint Cyprian Anglican Church, Hospital Road, Port Harcourt, the Bishop of Izon Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Fred Nyanabo said no man can achieve anything in life without the grace of God. Bishop Nyanabo who spoke on the topic “Spirit filled, urged younger couples to take a cue from Karibi Whyte who he said lives an exemplary life.
In his speech at the occasion, Hon Wogu Boms, the Attorney General and commissioner for Justice in Rivers State who represented Gov. Chibuike Amaechi congratulated the celebrant and prayed that the marriage reaches a hundred years. ####
