An umbrella body, known as Association of Northern Traders (ANT), has commended the Executive Governor of Rivers State Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, for his excellent strides in the areas of infrastructure, education and health care services in the state.
Alhaji Lawal Daura, Chairman, Association of Northern Traders, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, made this commendation while interacting with our correspondent. Daura emphasized that Amaechi has exemplified himself from others in the way and manner he has been carrying out his policies in the state.
He further applauded Amaechi for showing concern to the interest and plights of non-indigenes resident in his state ensuring security of lives and property, amongst others. Lawal also prayed God to give Amaechi, the wisdom to use his God-given position as the Chairman of Governors’ Forum, to preach for peace in the 36 states of the federation through their governors.
Allhaji Daura, however commended the Rivers State Commission for Urban Development, Hon. Tammy Danagogo, for the good work that Amaechi is doing in the state through him. He described the beautification job at the side of Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt as a nice one, describing the duo of Amaechi and Danagogo as people that carry out their duties with human face.
He expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Amaechi and Hon. Danagogo for their kind gesture to the Association of Northern Traders, Port Harcourt, and other trade bodies, that are carrying out their daily businesses in Rivers State.
Daura, in the meantime, reiterated to continue their unrelenting support to Governor Amaechi, his commissioners and commended the Rivers State House of Assembly, for being supportive of the good things that are taking place in the state.
