Why Me?

Crucifixion a fate for evil evildoers
Prison abode for bail jumpers
A caution reckless drivers receive
Why let them go and hold me here?

A citizen with a baptism is me
Putting rules into practice
Here, what I see is micky-mouse praise
Lavishing encomium on questionables
Who aspires a dupe without rude
In a state branded corruption prone
My wares no bidder to thinner
A debtor turned after bankruptcy!

Sorrow greets my morrow
Bones chilled, hope camel neddle eye
Are my in a turmoil, accursed, denounced
But why me?

Should my standard change?
Just for a plate of porridge?
Like Joseph the dreamer
My questions; why me?
