Prophesy is an arm of dreaming that has become most significant since the beginning of time. Historical records show Kings and kingdoms relying on prophets in managing the affairs of the different nations under their control. Advices from these prophets are sought on a daily basis before kingdoms embark on war with their early neighbors. Those who went to war without such advice do so at their own peril. Such was the importance of prophesies.
In modern day world of the twenty-first century, in a world of advance technology, solar powered jet planes, hu-man cloning and internet technology, today’s man still understands that he could have strategic advantage if he could have access to privileged information from dreams. Charlatans who have realized the importance of such quests have capitalized on this ‘viable market’ to put spiritually lazy individuals under fear and perpetual control.
At the beginning of every newyear, pages of newspapers are flooded with ‘prophesies’ on prominent Nigerians who need prayers to survive the year. Such individuals are requested to come for special prayers to avert ‘looming disasters’. May actually obey such threats or prophesies from such prophets of doom.
The question any reasonable individual should ask is ‘why don’t we have prophesies on poor individuals? Why should prophesies now be limited to the rich and those who have the capacity to pay for prayers?’
These prophets of doom actually trade on fear on gullible individuals who have no spiritual defenses. They are indeed like pawns on a chessboard or wood on the ocean that drift without any spiritual navigation in the ocean of life.
Thus dreams of prophesies have assumed phenomenal proportions that people can go to any length in an attempt to decipher what the future have for them.
What are dreams of Prophesy? Are these dreams the exclusive reserve of only some special individuals? Are there professional prophesiers? Can an ordinary individual develop the ability to dream of future events? Can an ordinary individual’s benefit from dreams of prophesy?
Dreams of prophesies are dreams that enable an individual to look ahead on the time track and view events that are about to unfold. These dreams are actually privileged information for the individuals who have been trained spiritually by the Living Godman and have developed the spiritual discipline to obey the laws of silence.
The study of dreams is like any other study that requires interest, patience and time. Most of all, the interested individual would require a Teacher who knows the way to conscious dreaming. There is a teacher who is known and referred to as the Dream Master. He is the one appointed by the spiritual hierarchy to teach the interested individual on the Art of Spiritual Dreaming and how to survive spiritually in these times.
Some individual would rather prefer having the ability to dream about the future without any effort on their part. This is why those who have the ability to dream consciously of future events are very few indeed. The training required is similar to any field of study where the individual must go through study and private practices and then through personal experiences, develop an innate ability to dream consciously of future activities or events.
This writer was shown Nigerian Leaders from the Second Republic till date but it was not necessary to disclose these on pages of newspapers because those who know the future do not talk about it. One must have the spiritual ability to keep quiet and allow the will of God to be carried out.
At another time, I was involved in an examination while at a university in Nigeria. I dreamt about the exam questions about a week to the exams. Meanwhile, most other students were busy peddling ‘acquired exam questions’ which I refused to accept. On the examination day, a curious thing happened. The lecturer arrived at the exam hall and the boot of his car refused to open! All efforts to free the boot failed and the lecturer had to dictate the questions live to all students in the hall.
Behold the questions dictated by the lecturer were questions that I had in the dream state! Ofcourse, I was pleasantly surprised. I had an A in the course while other students who relied on ‘acquired papers’ bemoaned their fate.
This is not an excuse for not studying hard anyway.
Dreams of prophesy are dreams that actually come due to God’s favor. They are not dreams that can be forced by any individual. Rather the individual must prepare himself in such a way that he can serve as a channel for God in any situation in life.
Three essential things would be required of the individual;
The first being that the individual would need a teacher. To contact this Dream Master, all the individual would require to do is to call God by that name that God cannot but answer. This secret name has now been brought into the open. It is known as the HU, the Holy and sacred name of God.
When the individual sings the HU, all his scattered dreams will be streamlined just as iron fillings in the presence of a magnet. His dreams will start appearing vivid where they have been previously disjointed. They will appear clearer where they have been previously murky. The Dream Master will then come to teach the individual in the dream state.
Secondly, the individual will start writing down his dreams on a daily basis so has to cultivate the discipline of listening to God. A child who listens to his Father will surely reap the benefits of goodwill.
Thirdly, the individual must learn to focus only on spiritual requests at the beginning of his study. He must also learn the law of silence. That is, he must not share his daily conversations with God with any other person. The path to God is an individual journey and therefore the onus rest on the individual to develop a one- on- one relationship with God.
The past, present and future are like a continuous string of activities. Only the spiritually developed individual can rise above the time track and have a 360 degree view point to gain a spiritual advantage while others who choose not to must go through the vicissitudes of life and must live at the mercy of the lords of Karma.
