Nigerians all over of the globe are in tears again, as both the national team handled by coach Stephen Keshi and Coach John Obuh-led flying Eagles lost their matches in their recent outings.
First it was the home based dominated Eagles led by Coach Stephen Keshi who filed against the Peruan national team and lost with a goal difference. This is Keshi’s second loss sincere he took over the mantle of leadership from coach Siasia.
Coach John Obuh, Sharks of Port Harcourt football club and Flying Eagles of Nigeria lost all his three matches competition. This is the worst fate John Obuh had received at this level of his coaching career. Many are in doubt whether it is still the coach John Obuh that got to the finals at this level in the world and Africa stage, considering the fact that he is still considered one of the best tacticians Nigeria could boast of. Nigeria is the defending champion in this competition.
This means that Nigerian football is still recuperating, and should recuperate fast to give hope to Nigerians in the forthcoming nation’s cup and world cup qualifier.
Only time will tell whether Keshi and Obuh could give the nation a result to hold on to in their different competitions.###
