Rev. Oliver Udioko Harps On The Law Of Divine Contact

Delivering a sermon on the theme: “Divine Contact” taken from Nehemiah 9:27, to his congregation at Foundation Faith Church, Borikiri, Port Harcourt, Rev. Oliver Udioko, declared that there are many laws that govern success in life.
He stated that one of those laws was principal, which he called the law of divine contact. He opined that since Heaven was the abode of God and the earth our jurisdiction, God will not descend from His throne of Grace to assist us but will use men on earth to help us.
He stressed however, that no one should put trust entirely on a particular person because God has over six billion human beings on planet earth to choose from, to help anyone out of problems and challenges.
The Reverend admonished the congregation to put God first, get connected to Him and they will be linked up to people he has strategically placed to assist them.
According to the cleric, the law of divine contact covers the whole spectrum of life, be it business, marital, career, etc.
To further drive home his point, he gave lucid Biblical examples of persons who got divine contact that turned around their fortunes.
He specifically cited the case of Joseph, whose link man was the butler, who facilitated by divine contact and mercy of God, the release of Joseph from prison by Pharaoh to the palace of Egypt. The rest was history, of how Joseph, who was sold to slavery, became the most powerful person after Pharaoh, in Egypt.
He said when David needed a divine contact to rescue him from the numerous attempts on his life by King Saul, Jonathan, the son of Saul, became the link man who struck an accord with David and often gave him leadings that saved him from being slaughtered by Saul.
Apart from the examples above, he further cited the case of Naaman, Captain of the host of Syria, a man of valour who was a leper and who by divine contact through his Jewish house girl, at the instruction of Prophet Elisha, was healed of his leprosy.
Not done yet, the Cleric used himself to illustrate how he had a divine contact through FFC TV Ministry, way back in 1993, when he first arrived Port Harcourt as a young man.
That singular divine encounter, he noted, changed the story of his life to what he is today, adding, without divine contact our endeavours will amount to fruitless struggle.
The Cleric prayed that by reason of divine contact, all shall recover all that was lost in life. # # #
