OKRIKA LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL HOLDS ITS 5TH CDC INTERACTIVE FORUM

In furtherance to advancing the Okrika local government council integrated community development agenda of Barr. Tamuno Williams, the Okrika local government council will on Friday May 18, 2012 at 12noon hold its 5th CDC interactive forum to build on its rural development template and to add further impetus to the rural agenda of Barr. Tamuno Williams’ administration.
A statement issued by the executive assistant to the chairman, Emmanuel Kaldick-Jamabo stated that the C.D.C Interactive Forum would afford the council to engage in NEED assessment of the people and set further agenda for sustainable development and good governance in the area.
He added that the forum will also afford the opportunity for Okrikans to ask pertinent questions that will stimulate growth and development in the area.
The event will take place at the council multi-purpose hall.
The statement added that all chairmen and secretaries of Community Development Committees (CDC) in all towns and Biris in the area are graciously invited to this interactive forum.
