The duo, Juliana Amasi and Benebo Wopele of Information ministry, Rivers State, serving as press officers in the Rivers State civil service, were within the week awarded Best Performing Press Officers, in the different ministries they are posted to serve as press officers for their monthly press releases.
Benebo Wopele is the serving Press Officer of the Rivers State ministry of Health while Juliana is the serving Press Officer of the Rivers state Ministry of Sports. Both press officers are staff of Rivers State ministry of Information and Communications.
In accordance with their jobs, they are under obligation to produce monthly press releases to the information news desk for publication. For maintaining good monthly press releases they became outstanding and were adjudged best performing press officers. The award also goes with cash.
Others too were awarded who lived up to expectations. It is the ministry of Information’s way of motivating its staff to be up and doing in the different ministries they are posted to serve as press officers.
Speaking to our reporter after the ward and cash, both Benebo Wopele of ministry of Health and Juliana Amasi of the ministry of Sports, expressed appreciation to the ministry of Information top management for appreciating hard work, and pledged to put in more efforts in their zeal to work committedly in the months ahead. ###
