Greater Evangelism World Crusade Ordains Udoaka, Others

Saturday, April 28, 2012, would ever remain a memorable day in the life of the family of the Udoakas as one of their sons, Reason A. Udoaka, was ordained pastor alongside other 300 members by the Greater Evangelism World Crusade.
The occasion kicked off by 10am with singing of hymns, worship and praises.
The General Overseer, Apost. G.D. Numbere, while addressing them before the ordination, cited 2Kings 4:8, referring to how a woman was able to perceive that Elisha was a man of God through his behavior and urged them to have a godly character that would make them stand out from the crowd, adding that they should stand for the truth and defend the gospel at every given point in time.
Apost. G.D. Numbere in his sermon, quoted the Bible, “One God and Father of all, who is above all, through you all, and in you all, that He gave some apostles, some prophets, evangelists and some pastors, and some teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry to edify the body of Christ.”
He told them not to be children any longer, tossed to and fro by any wind of doctrine that will deceive, but should speak the truth in love.
While laying hands on them, he said, “In Greater Evangelism, I do not teach people how to make money, we teach people how to make heaven, that they should go to the world and teach people how to make heaven.”
Shortly after the occasion, Pastor Reason A. Udoaka, one of the pastors that was ordained spoke with The Newswriter, thanking and appreciating God for counting him worthy to work in His vineyard and promised that by His grace he would give his best to God.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Snr. Pastor. Edith Friday Udoaka, thanked God for stretching His hands of faithfulness toward the family and giving it the privilege to be counted worthy to serve in His vineyard.
Pastor Edith encouraged Pastor Reason Udoaka who is her elder brother to beat all odds to stand tall in the calling of God, adding that there is joy in serving God.
Also, his wife, Mrs. Blessing Udoaka who prayed that God should guide the footsteps of her husband at every given point in time for His course, promised to be his help mate in his ministry.
Mr. Uwana F. Udoaka and Evang. Progress Hope Mgboalu, younger brothers of Pastor Udoaka, thanked God for the promotion of faithfulness in the family. ###
