Delta State Lawmaker Commends Radio Rivers Choral Festival

A Delta state Lawmaker, Hon (Dr.) Alphonsus Ojo has commended the Radio Rivers 99.1 fm 2012 Easter Choral Festival saying he was going back after attending the festival, more blessed than before he came.
Dr. Ojo who was the chairman of the occasion told the press after the programme at Alfred Diette Spiff Civic Centre, Port Harcourt on Easter Monday, April 9, 2012, that Rivers State is a God fearing state ruled by leaders who love God.
According to Ojo, the occasion glorified God which will bring down God’s blessing to the state. He asked the Radio station to keep it up and never allow the devil to cheat them, making them to skip it as it would bring abundant blessings to the state individually and generally.
He frowned at the report of the station’s General Manager, Mediline Tador (JP) that the festival did not hold last year due to the death of a staff.
The General Manager in her welcome address explained that the festival was borne out of what God laid on her mind when she took over the mantle of leadership of the station and thanked God who has stood by the programme and giving it growth. She said the festival has almost become a culture and the station celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ every Easter Monday to the glory of God.
Highlights of the day were praise and worship by the congregation, Praise and worship by Salvation Ministries choir, goodwill messages, scriptural exhortation, mass choir ministration, performance by crystal claris dancers, skyline Angelic worshippers, soloists and Halleluyah Chorus conducted by the Rivers born high class music guru, Alabo Dr. C.I.T Wokoma. ###
