The Yahosheans family in Port Harcourt celebrated the solar calendar world New Year day on March 31 , 2012 at the congregation worship centre, N4A Elechi Beach, behind the Universal Basic Education Board (UBE).
Speaking to The Newswriter newspaper, the scribe of the organization, chosen Raziah Atereye Bala said man is living under illusion as all what he does are purely outside Yahweh’s plans and order, Pointing out that while the Bible which is the all believers guide in all scriptural matters, man has chosen to do things his own way, abandoning his guide the Bible and operating false life.
Chosen Bala asked the rationale behind man celebrating the new year day on January 1st, while the Bible stated that Abib 1st should be the beginning of the year for man. He explained that Abib 1st is April in the Roman’s calendar stressing that Yahweh the Grand Creator called that month Abib to signify the difference of that month among the months he created in the year. He cited Exo. 12:1-2, Number 9:1 and Deut 16:1 as the portions that order man to celebrate the new year on 1st of April (ABIB)
Explaining further, the soft spoken amiable religious leader, who is the representative of Yahoshean family here in Port Harcourt, stressed that man cannot have peace until he chose to obey Yahweh’s law and observe His spiritually approved feast days.
Bala noted that there is no argument about the first day of the creation as the bible has specifically stated, except man wants to fool himself. He asked who created the days and the entire world, pointing out that if the creator of Heaven and earth had ordered that 1st of April (Abib) is the beginning of months for man, who is man to challenge that authority?
Chosen Bala, claimed that for man, inability to follow Yahweh’s order and principles diligently is the cause of premature death and untold sickness in the world today.
He revealed that if only man could be wise to extract what he reads from his bible and abide by it sincerely, many premature death and some unwelcomed conditions on earth will be a thing of the past.
“For instance the bible said we should celebrate Abib 1st as the beginning of the months. This is indicated in the bible book of Exod. 12:1-2, Deut. 16:1 yet man goes celebrating something that is not real, a pagan idol celebration that does not have bearing with the scriptures.”
He said Yahweh the Grand Creator ordered man to worship on the seventh day (Sabbath) not Sunday this is another disobedient, call him by His name Yahweh and that of His son Yahoshea Meshiyach and to love his fellow human being more than himself.
The man of Yahweh highlighted that there could be no better world if man decided to ignore Yahweh’s laws and observe his own self-created feast days and laws.
Peacefully appealing to the entire world, Chosen Bala amidst cry while preaching to the congregation, said it is better to obey everything that Yahweh the Grand Creator ordered man to obey and observe for man to enjoy eternity here on earth, than disobey Yahweh’s own order and laws to enjoy internal suffering.
He stated that this is the true state of the world today hence Yahosheans would not dare to disobey Yahweh in this appointed official feasts, hence Abibs 1st for the Yahosheans is a must new year day to celebrate. ####
