Rivers State Indigenes Resume Maritime Course In India

Rivers State indigenes have successfully resumed the Governor Amaechi sponsored maritime training course in Amelteh university India. The Lucky Rivers State oversea sponsored maritime course winners include one female out of the 30 Rivers State Indigenes that benefited from the programme.
Hon. Ipalibo Harry, commissioner for Employment Generation and Empowerment disclosed this information in his office, pointing out that he accompanied the lucky 30 beneficiaries abroad in order to ensure that proper attention and immediate compliance of their admission was effected by the university.
Hon. Harry further disclosed that the training was intended to improve the 30 beneficiaries’ competence and make them compete favourably with their contemporaries in the global maritime industry.
Speaking on the onlimne registration of unemployed Rivers indigenes exercise, Hon. Harry stressed that it is government’s work plan to accommodate all and sundry who are basically Rivers state indigenes, but frowned at the attitude of the local government areas in the state, stating that out of the 23 local government areas in the state only 14 have so far complied.
He appealed to the remaining local government areas that have not compiled with the directive to access for more information on www.riversjobng.comm.ng.
The employment commissioner assured indigenes of the state to exercise patience while maintaining peace and orderliness to benefit from Hon. Amaechi led government as the government is prepared to alleviate the sufferings of the unemployed youths in the state.
