Work With Amaechi To Develop Rivers State …Barr. Ebeku Urges Opposition Parties Members

The Special Adviser to the Rivers State governor on inter-party matters, Barr. Solomon C. Ebeku has called on members of the opposition political parties in the state especially those who lost the elections to joins hands with Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi led administration to move the state forward. Barr. Ebeku made the call in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt. Barr. Ebeku who described governor Amaechi’s emergence as the governor of Rivers State as a blessing to the people of the state recalled the developmental projects embarked upon including health, education, constitution of roads, transportation, among others across the 23 LGAs of the state stressing the need for all persons in the state to work with him irrespective of political parties affiliation to bring more dividends of democracy across the state.
According to him, the roads constructions, health centres, schools he built among others across the state was not enjoyed by Amaechi and PDP members alone rather it is for all members of the state pointing out that there is need to join hands with him to bring more development to Rivers State.
The Ahoada East born politician who described his position “the Special Adviser to governor Amaechi on inter party matter as the office to ensure that members of opposition party work in one accord with the ruling party in the state stressed that his most challenging was that members of other political parties feel that they are not part of the government and adviced them not to be bias in their critics rather should be constructive, make inputs and offer useful advice where necessary as well as to work with him to do more in the state.
On the area he wants governor Amaechi to focus more, Barr. Ebeku who noted that governor Amaechi has performed credibily within four years and some months of his administration appealed to him to focus attention more on transportation by providing more buses to meet the demand of the commuters in the state, equipped health centres that were not equipped, furnish schools built that were not furnished to accommodate more students across the state as well as construct more roads to decongest traffic in the state.
On the recent PDP ward congress held across the 319 wards in the state, Barr. Ebeku who participated actively in the election in his area Ahoada East described the election as peaceful, free and fair expressing hope that the forthcoming chairman PDP congress will be peaceful.
On the appointment of Hon. Tony Okocha the chief of staff Government House Rivers State as the chairman Board of Trustee of Rivers Youth Movement (RYM) and Hon. Okey Okirie as the Secretary Board of Trustee RYM by the RYM members recently Barr. Ebeku described it as well deserved honour.
Hon. Ebeku who said that both appointees have worked with governor Amaechi to developed the state noted that the appointment would spurned them to do more to improve the lives of the people of the state. ###
