This man we are about to introduce to you, is a man who had seen the good olden days of life with sports in Rivers State. He served as organizing secretary to many big wig in Rivers State Sports council while they were chairmen of Associations. Apart from serving as director now in the sports council, he is a father figure jovial but will refused to spare the rod to spoil the child.
A man you could best described as a lawyer and a teacher. Upright in his dealing with any that comes his way, charismatic, gentle, orderly, disciplined and principled, above all God fearing.
He is a knight, ambassador of peace (JP) for his level of level headness has receive lots of award from various organizations and Association without much ado, please welcome the one time chairman of Degema local government council, now the Honourable Director of Sports, Rivers State, Sir. (Hon) Daobu Harvest Harry (JP) as the Newswriter Sports, sports personality of the week. Achievements: As LGA chairman 1996-97 a lot of achievements,
served as organising secretary to all sports
association, developed and won lots of trophies,
led R/S to many national sports festival, coming
back with good position as acting director of
sports. Bringing the hosting right to R/S 17th
National Sports festival, also maintained best
organized sports festival ever, took best overall
medal table. Total of 299 breakdown 135 gold,
79 silvers and 85 brozen.

For the sports council, Rivers State was not allowed to be cheat courtesy Sir. Daobu Harry.
