Finima DPO Assures Effective Policing

Sequel to the recent state of insecurity in the country, the Nigeria Police force has assured effective policing all over their respective Divisions in the country.
Speaking to The Newswriter in his office at Finima, in Bonny local government Area of Rivers State, the Divisional Police Officer, SP Abdulkar Yahaya, said Finima Police Headquarter is a new division that needed proper and effective policing.
The DPO said this after a security meeting with the youths executive and stakeholders in Finima community on security of lives and property in the area.
SP Yahaya stated that despite his recent recent resumption of office as the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the Division, he would do his best to ensure law and order in the community.
He lauded the officers and men attached to his division for their commitment to official duties, noting that the station was properly functional when he came on board and that people have recognized the division because of the frequent meetings and orientation in the area.
The Police boss commended all inhabitants of Finima for making the division free from serious crimes, adding out that bail is free and minor cases are settled within the station.
The DPO appealed to all in his division to always report suspects to the police so as to bring justice into control in the area, adding that the police is a friend to all, and stated that his office is open at all times for any vital information that will help the society.
He charged the youths and other ethnic groups to see themselves as one and shun whatever that would cause disunity.
SP Yahaya also lauded the Bonny local government council chairman, Hon. Barr. Edward E. Pepple, for his cooperation with the Finima police Division.
He also commended some of the multinationals who have one way or the other come to the aid of the Station.
He charged the youths and others to be free from crime, saying that he would not condone anybody found guilty of criminal conduct and would allow the law take its course.
