For his charismatic way of approach to every issue that came to him concerning sports, without doubt, you must also confess he deserves The Newswriter sports personality of the week. A team player, charming, simple hearted, a man you could best describe as unassuming in his dealing with the youths, public administration. Though, a lawyer, he turns out to be a simple public servant with difference.

Suffice it to say that Hon. Fred Igwe is a man of justice; he promised and went on to deliver. One striking area about Fred Igwe is his unassuming characteristic way about everything. He plays football, and knows the work of a player hence he has started planting his talented football talents in the state owned teams which has been long denied them. He is a patriot; he likes blue and green jerseys because of Sharks and Eagles. A man you can relate with in a relaxed manner.
Call him a man with golden heart and you would not be wrong. A lawyer by profession, turned politician.
