The Christ Army Church of Nigeria, CAC, worldwide celebrated her 96 years Anniversary at the Supreme Headquarters, Bakana, in Degema local government area of Rivers State, last Monday.
It was a celebration which the Arch Bishop Ibiba Siri (JP) described as an annual event of the CAC worldwide in every 30th of January marking the commencement of the CAC missionary journey by Late Prophet Sokari Dakedima Braide.
The Arch Bishop and President of the CAC worldwide during the unveiling and cutting of the anniversary cake designed in colours representing religious symbols by the wife of the Arch Bishop, Mrs. B.I. Siri at the Supreme Headquarters, Bakana, maintained that the 98th year anniversary celebration is celebrated annually to remember the beginning of Christ Army Church by the Late founder.
Arch Bishop Siri further described the CAC as the Army of Christ which has the healing powers to cast demonic and satanic oppressions and bondage in the name of Christ the son of God Almighty, receiving salvation as the right of every man who believed in God the father, the son and the Holy Ghost.
The president used the platform to urge all prophets and ordained ministers of God in the Christ Army to desist from activities capable of attracting God’s punishment in their services, in other to make the CAC a proud and Holy Army of Christ, blessed with members of various cathedrals with the healing powers as one of the blessings from God to the members of the Christ Army through the Holy water and the Holy mud.
Deliveringhis sermon, Bishop Tamunobelema K.S. Braide, said fornication, gossiping, falsehood, hatred, disobedience, and all forms of ungodly behaviours are forbidden in the Christ Army Church of Nigeria and advised members to turn away from such attitudes and display commitment to the development and growth of the church.
The Bishop further stressed that the year 2012 would be a year of more healing powers and achievements of fruits of salvation and divine uplift to all members of the Christ Army Church of Nigeria.
The Bishop raised the song “Happy birthday Christ” which was chorused by all.
Highlights of the occasion are the unveiling and the cutting of the 96 years anniversary cake and a visit in convoy to the Holy Water source, there after moving to the tomb of the founder, Late Prophet Sokari Daketima Braide.
Dignitaries at the occasion include. Bishops of various cathedrals their wives, ordained ministers, prophets and prophetesses and other clergies.
The Arch Bishop and his dear wife gave the vote of thanks wising all members of the CAC journey mercies to their various homes and churches. ###
