Nigeria Football Hits Another Milestone Again

The Nigeria football on Friday, hit another milestone as a federal government court declared that the nomenclatures, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigeria Premier League, NPL, are all illegal, and ordered the country’s football administration to go back to the status quo in normalizing the nomenclature of the country’s football glass house.
It would be called that Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, went to court to prove that the two bodies’ nomenclatures are illegal though, he too was to contest the Nigeria premier league election where he was denied his will to contest, which made him to seek re-dress in the court of law.
The federal court also ordered that a new election should be conducted with the former names of the bodies. This is a clear indication that every thing about Nigeria football has to start all over again, even as the premier league in the country has commenced.
With these judgments many football followers in the country are justifying the failure of the country’s football in all international outings. All plans of holding the centre have been plunged into nothingness as the way forward about the country football is in uncertain.
An ex-Green left winger in the 80s, Chief Adokiye Amiesimaka without mincing words has been drumming it loud and clear that there is no structure in Nigerian football. He wants the sports commission to run the country’s football authority which is headed by his team mate Chief Segun Odegbemi………………………………………..?. ###
