Sharks Coach Should Open His Hands To Help Players Succeed – Melford

A die-hard supporter of Sharks and Dolphins Football Clubs of Port Harcourt, Loveday Melford has charged Coach John Obuh to open his hands to support the players to succeed.
The member of Rivers State Handball winning team of the 17th National Sports Festival made this charge while speaking with The Newswriter Sports desk, before the Christmas and New Year break at Sharks Stadium.
According to the outspoken fan of Sharks Football Club, Coach John Obuh has not been opening his hands as to support his lads when they are in dare need of cash unlike his counterpart, Coach Stanley Eguma who will always stand by his boys.
When the state government has not paid the boys their allowances, just to motivate them from his pocket so that they could perform for him, pointing out that this tricks has always paid-off for Coach Stanley Eguma.
He pinpointed out that that was the reason Dolphins is recording more victories than Sharks of Port Harcourt. He added that Coach Obuh should look forward in complementing the state government’s effort in lifting Sharks up where it is from the league table by supporting his players from his pocket when the state government has not paid the players their allowance, as a way of moving the players to record an impressive result in the premiership league.
However, Melford is hopeful that Sharks will bounce back to winning ways come 2012 season.
