Beach Eagles Redeems Nigeria’s Image

The Nigerian Beach Eagles penultimate week redeemed the country’s battered image in the global football circle by beating Brazil at the National stadium here in Nigeria.
This year’s football season has never favoured the country in all her international outings in all categories, taking from the male senior national team to the junior male national teams. This was the same result recorded by the female team of Nigeria.
It is therefore very important that the Beach Eagles has come in a way of giving succour to the country’s soccer lovers and followers by beating Almighty Brazil at the country soil.
Nigeria could be said to be a strong contender in this particular soccer competition, though, Nigeria has not measured up well in this competition of recent.
The Beach football is a game mainly played in sandy countries like Brazil. It is then no wonder that Brazil won the maiden edition when it was first established for competition.
Due to the dwindling fortunes of the country’s failure to rise above expectation, the likes of J.J. Okocha, former captain of Super Eagles and Victor Anosa Ikpeba, sometimes considered playing for Nigeria under the Beach Eagles.
The feat recorded by the Beach Eagles is a kind of ray of hope for Nigerian football, coming from a time the country’s football is on decline.
To say the least, the country’s football is at its ebb tide, hence the feat recorded by the Beach Eagles could be counted as the best ray of hope or tonic expected at this time of the Nigeria football. ###
